Wow = slightly tight in the frame perhaps, but what a super action shot - full of colour :toast: :toast:

Love the play of light and color here Antino. Excellent flight pose and presentation position of the prey. My tastes want just a bit more room up top given the wing tip position and the apparent flight direction but that's minor for such a dramatic image. If this were mine I'd certainly work on eliminating the apparent narrow halo especially noticeable along the darks of the lower neck - this image deserves it IMO. That said, I love this photo.

Antino: Fantastic capture. the butterfly in the beak really adds a lot to the dynamic nature of this shot. A little tight in the frame for my tastes. You didn't indicated if this was full frame or a crop. Maybe you have more room? Nice work :toast:

Oh, Wow, Antino. Great image with great action. I wish for a little more room on top-I think you could easily add a little canvas there and improve an already outstanding image.

Antino, this is gorgeous, that light, those colors, the perfect sharpness and perfect blur of the wings.

This is very nice Antino. I will echo some of the other comments about a bit more room on top. Color is awesome. In the larger image the birds's head and the butterfly are not tack sharp as some motion blur is evident, but still great action.

Can't ask for more in terms of color and tone. This is delightful. Nice wingspread and the butterfly sends it over the top. Great work, Antino.

Very nice Antino, great capture. If any of the remaining 10% of the photo is at the top I would suggest using it, but it's great as is!

Pretty amazing photo Antino! The bird might not be perfect with its missing tail feathers, but the texture and color are amazing. And not to mention the action of the moth in its beak. Pretty awesome.

I know you've already received a lot of compliments but I had to say, "WOW!!!" This is one of the most beautiful bird pictures I've seen! The colours and lighting are incredible and I love how the yellow flowers match the bird. And then there's his catch! Wow!

Thank you so much for all your comments about my shot.
The photo was taken in a place in the countryside near my town Macerata in the centre of Italy. I usually use a ground blind where i can hide myself and i start to take shoots at 6:00am before the sunrise. I use a tripod and a lot of patience

Beautiful! Very dynamic, nice Bg, sharp and colorful bird, the butterfly is the icing on the cake.
Maybe a little tight, but perhaps I am just envious of a really great shot!
Bravo! :toast:
