Short Eared Owl

At last I made it to see the short eared owls. This fellow didn t dissappoint he was a right show off posing for at least 30 photographers, it was an amazing sight one I shall never forget. This is just one of many just got to go through them all now. Forgot to add cloned out an irritating piece of grass that looked like it was growing out of his head.

Great shot Karen:toast: :toast: - everyone seems to be getting these, and the closest I have ever seen them is about 100m! Where is this special place where all the owls are?

Thanks guys John I would love a natural stump but don t think the farmer would be to keen to see many people on his land it would start off a frenzy of toggers putting up their own stuff

You already know what I think of this one! Terrific detail and those eyes .... Worth having to put up with the scrum for it though!
