India's famous wetland Keoladeo National Park is home to amazing mammals apart from being a World Heritage Site. Its recent claim to fame is also being home to a straying tigress.

Apart from the wildlife, it also is run over by local inhabitants for grazing etc., which is a prescribed management intervention in the park. A fair amount of run down cattle form a significant portion of the diet of the predators in the park.

This jackal inspects a dead cow.Image was shot in late evening light ISO 640, f5.6,1/800.

The setting n pose are very interesting, but the image needs to be brightened up.

A striking image Vijay. I like the soft light, but agree with Jagdeep that it could be a tad brighter. I also cannot help wondering how the reflection looked like and if it would have worked to include that instead of the BG.

Vijay, I commented on INW on this image, very powerful but I would suggest you post a larger version of this. It would come out much better then. Like suggested below a little brightening would be helpful
