Lovely light. Nice extension on the neck to show off the hard-to-see ring. I'd prefer not to have the grasses block the reflection, though.

Gorgeous light and color
Agree that adjusting the crop could improve things

sweet light, Sharon. I like the ripple around the duck and the view of the neck ring. I agree about moving it a little to the left.

Ah, gorgeous light for this duck shows it off well. Too bad about the tips of the reeds, especially the one going through the reflection of the eye.... There's such good detail on the bird, and with the fantastic light, if this were mine I'd devote some work to removing the reeds.... Otherwise, a wonderful shot.

Nice shot, Sharon. Comments about distracting reeds have been mentionned already...

Great job on the exposure Sharon and I like the relection. I do find the FG grass a bit distracting though.

Such nice warm morning light, and it's a great look at the namesake neck. I'm split regarding the veg on the bottom. On one hand, I too would prefer it not blocking the reflection, but on the other, I like shots like this with some OOF foreground veg to give a clue about habitat.

Very nice light and good job handling the blacks and whites. I also go back and forth on the reeds at the bottom of frame but wonderful shot as is.
