Fleeing the battle field

This young Chital stag had a fight with the bigger stag, as a result he lost an anteler. He is fleeing the battle field after losing the fight and an anteler too.
Thank you so much for your kind attention & views !

Good timing with the pose of the stag and that you can see the broken antler. I like the nice light and the detail on the larger image looks good (you can even see some redness around the eye). Well done.

Jagdeep, you have worked with some great light here, and your dof choice is perfect for the situation, the light and the BG. the slight motion blur adds a lot to the image ...well done :toast:

Hi Jagdeep,

I like this one - simple, clean, and with an interesting subject in a great "pose". I really like the overall colour palette too. I'm surprised you froze the action so well at the relatively slow shutter speed you used - you must have caught this stag at the peak of the action (well done!). The broken antler is interesting (as is how it occurred), but I think I'd like the image just as much if the stag had normal antlers!

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...
