Nice colors in the sky Maurizio. The LRC feels very dark compared to the rest of the scene. Also this photo should probably be posted in Man & Nature due to the lights and poles.

Maurizio,

Lovely coastal image with nice color and symmetry. I really like the glossy reflections in the wet sand. I would agree that the LRC is pretty dark, but overall I think you have a nice and natural balance of light between the top and bottom. Too many times folks make the sky and land the same brightness, which just isn't very natural - at least to me.

Scott is correct in that it looks like some "hand of man" with the lights and what look like sail or fishing boat masts. I would at least clone out the lights if your so inclined, but overall it's fairly insignificant, although I would ask you keep this in mind for future posts. Thanks!

Lon and Scott,

thank you for your kind words and suggestions. No problem at all about moving the picture in Man & Nature. I just thought the human presence in this particular image was pretty non significant. I have indeed a version of this image with the lights cloned away.
BTW what LRC stands for? :wavey:

This is a beautiful image. I would also like to see some hints of light in the LR. The total blackness makes a heaviness that doesn't work well with the rest of the image.

Maurizio,

No problems. Guidelines say "no recognizable hand of man." We try and be flexible and not be forum police so to speak (hence, you image didn't get moved.) But I mention because technically I can recognize the boats and of course lights. Not a big deal really, but we try our best to be consistent. thanks for understanding.

"LRC" is one of many acronyms... = lower right corner. From that you should be able to figure what URC, ULC and LLC also stand for. Some people might shorten in to "LR" which is just loer right. It's basically lazy typing.

I like the variety of color in this. Would just like to see some of the darks opened up a bit more to better balance the light across the frame.
