This shot was taken yesterday evening at a frozen lake in the steppes of "Seewinkel", a national park in the eastern part of Austria, bordering Lake Neusiedl.

The color and light are very nice, but I don't think the inclusion of the horizon adds to the image.

Beautiful warm light and nice colors. I'm not quiet sure abot the comp........I agree with David about the horizon. I don't think it adds a lot to this image here.

Lovely lighting on the grasses and your composition draws my eyes deep into the scene. I agree with the others about not needing the horizon.

Well, another vote for a crop. I do like the light and neutral colors presented.

Wonderful color and detail Peter. I too agree that a crop would transform this into a wonderful abstract.

Really nice color. I think a different comp with just the foreground might work, but for this particular shot I don't know if a crop of the sky would help - I think you would just be confused about what you were looking at. Very cool place though.

Excellent exposure and light. The place looks amazing. About the horizon I agree into including it, but by looking at the sourroundings it seems that there could have been a composition with a diagonal line leading to the background. Just an idea. Anyway, wonderful place and lovely colors.
