Antino,

What a capture! I like the composition with the perch on a diagonal one way the birds on a diagonal the other. At first I was sorry the upper birds wing was clipped but now I don't know. I seems to tell a story the way you have presented the shot. The incoming bird is an invader and your primary subject does not like it. I really like it a lot and I plan to show it to my wife this evening.

Great catch of the action! Nice detail in the birds plumage. Well exposed. The clipped wing is not a factor IMHO. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic image Antino. I love the action and the composition. The clipped wing, for me, is a non issue.

Lovely colors Antino, of both the birds and the background. I especially like that there is a view of both the bird's eyes, that both have thier bills open and the interaction between the birds. Because the interaction is so great I think this image would have been more powerfully composed if the upper bird had not been clipped though this is nice as presented.

Antino: great interaction captured here. The skirmish is really neat. Pose of the bird on the bottom is dramatic. I wish the bird on top was all there. I think it would make this image even stronger.

Wow, very interesting action shot and great job in getting this. I like seeing the bottom wing span with all that color, way to go, well done.

I love the second bird coming into the picture! Great sharpness, colours, and seperation from the background! I also really like the catchlight in the second birds eye. Awesome picture! Did you take this on the same day that you took the bee-eater catching the moth? Either way, these are two stunning pictures!
