Bullfinch at Pool

One of the few stills I,ve done lately .Head and feet could do to be a bit crisper but light conditions really bad . F 4 I think .
Concentrating more on video again these days.
Seems to have wider scope of creative abilities than still and good for controlled content lectures . I am getting the impression that perhaps conventional bird photography has about run its course. Who knows. I feel a "flooded market" describes it very well
Usual pool set up.

Absolutely stunning! Perch, pose, composition - spot on, and what a great bird too!

Lovely colours John and I like the way it is separated from the BKGR.

Cheers

Hello John.

Have to agree that the setting is lovely as is the colour of the background, that suits the Bullfinch very nicely.

Thanks all for your interest.
Might mention this is a specially invented perch which does not have a back branch lead in which most people would suggest cloning out any way.
Easy to do if you think about it. You just have to find the right twig
No "set up "- natural pool.(Introduced twig !!) But who 's bothered anyway ?
At least it didn't cost me a months pension

A beauty John. Cracking colours. I don't think video will ever replace top shots like this
