Shy Albatross photographed just after sunrise at sea off Eden, New South Wales.
Canon 7D, EF 70-200 f/4 IS @150mm, handheld, ISO 800, f/6.3, 1/200, corrected tilt, slight crop from top and bottom.

Different and lovely Simon. Love the streaming light in the background and the texture of the water. I'd have had a difficult time knowing how to compose this in regard to the placement of the albatross in the frame horizontally but the light in the clouds seems to me to be as much of a subject as does the bird.

Simon this is nice as posted but how about a little more of a pano crop and the bird a little less centered. Again really nice as posted just thinking out loud.
