I'll vote for firefighters hitting golf balls into a pond. Love the details the ripples and the details in the splash.

I'll go with a rock dropped in water. Love the colors and the ripples.

Could be an underground stream feeding another body of water with great color reflections.

This was taken on the Astoria riverfront which is tidal and has a lot of motion in the water. This is not something thrown into the water, it is something beneath the water. This occurred ceaselessly while i was there. I captured this in order to see how it would look frozen. I didn't get exactly what I expected, but it seems like a suitable subject for this challenge. It is actually the top of a piling a couple of inches beneath the surface of the water.
