Thanks for looking, and your comments are greatly appreciated.

Good detail on the eagle and I like that outstretched wing -- not fond of the white background and I would take out the branches in the lower left

Hi John: I like this high key image. The flow of the branches works well in the composition. I'm not wild about the branch in the lower left corner though. Gotta love that wing dangling down. In the larger version the body feathers seem like they might be just a bit over sharpened? That's the only place so maybe this was just one contrasty eagle. Nicely captured and presented.

Gorgeous John - love the white BG. Never seen a shot like this before where one wing was extended and one folded. Very neat. I might clone a couple of the intruding bracnhes, but nothing major.

This is wall material. I would leave it as is. I think I would pull the brightness of the sky down a bit, but that's all. Neat photo.

What a unique pose! Seeing the broken primary makes you wonder what battles he has faced. The sharpness is awesome and I love the bright white background.

Hi John,
I love the intensity of the subject's gaze and the white background gives the image the feel of a chilly winter's morning, I like this capture a lot :^)

Ashley

This is stunning. I think the background goes perfectly with this pose. With the possible exception of a light blue, It just would not have the same impact if it were cluttered or another color.

This is stunning John! The unique pose and the composition are outstanding. I like the use of the white background. Have heard it said "I don't like white backgrounds", they need to see this!

Love the wing and tail display John, excellent position of head and beak to show them off against the background with a good look at the eye. Sharpness looks good throughout but the pose makes the shot for me.

I really like the pose, wing spread, feather detail and the composition is excellent. I am not use to seeing white sky so that part of the image throws me off a bit unless that is mt background covered in snow. I also like the way this image flows with the look of the eagle following the tree branch. Very intriguing image, well composed and well done.
