Oneonta Gorge

This is a rather popular area, especially when the weather gets better.... not this day!...For a year or two I always wanted to get in here to get this image with wet rocks, wet vegetation, but since it is a relatively easy image, and is pretty close to home, I always put it off!... but after a few days in my office I headed out last weekend and made this photograph[h. I had the place to myself. It was relaxing to spend some time there without the crowds, just enjoying the smells and sounds of the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, at its best.

A lovely scene. I especially like the comp with the rocks in the FG. A nice variety of shapes and colors there. Nicely done Jack.

Fine processing and depth of field Jack. The highlights in the rapids look signficantly clipped on your web version. Your web sharpening really stands out here - crisp and clean. Nice!
