Taken while scouting with David Cobb for the Olympic National Park workshop last weekend. David organizes some of the best workshops anywhere, and it was a pleasure to be his co-insturctor on this one.

This is three exposures blended together using my advanced photoshop blending techniques. I will be releasing a video covering these techniques in the next few months, I'll announce it here when I do.

Everything about this image is outrageous, you nailed it with a hydraulic hammer. Nothing more to say. :toast:

D-A-M-N you nailed it is right! So much clarity throughout, love the gold and blue in this, I'd love to see your blending techniques. Glad you got this on a scouting mission, great work Zach!

Great colors, silhouettes, and reflections all in the same image. Nicely done.

Stunning! I like everything, composition, light, reflections. The sloped hill on the right and iots reflection in the water leads the eye into the photo and to the horizon. The sparse rocks on the background have a sort of "fantasy" mood in them. :toast:

Look forward to that, if this image is anything to go by. (though I'd like to have seen the RHS of the fgd pool..)

Great shot, Zack! Love the sky and reflection, and nice exposure here. I kind of prefer it with the pinnacle closer to 1/3 than 1/4, but its a close call

Nice and clean. Subtle color and some neat light. It has a slight tilt feel given the angles and curve.

I'll look forward to seeing the blending technique Zack because your blending in this is spot on. Loving the golden light in this and the wonderful reflection in the rock pool.

Awesome! I think this is amazing. Not going for extreme shadow detail was the way to go here.

Excellent image, Zack. With exposure blending, I might've tried to bring detail and color into the shadows, yet you decided to keep the rocks in silhouette. I think that was a good choice. Well crafted image.

Zack - The upper LC seems a bit too dark compared to the other side. Otherwise, a really well composed image, balanced, and soothing to look at. Like others, I'm looking forward to hearing about any new ideas for blending. Nothing worse than have a great composition, several exposures with all of the data, but lacking the PS technique to put it all together.
