Maui

Not sure why, but I never really processed all my Maui images I shot back in 2008. I posted a horizontal of this rainbow eucalyptus tree back then and guess I was satisfied with it enough not to look any further. I'd love to hear if this vertical works.

Jimmy,

This is a great abstract. The lines are very nice, and I love the color. If you decide to print this you might want to clone out the dark spot in the green area on the lower left. The reds and greens in this are really cool. I like it.

This is real nice! Can't remember the horizontal, but I really like this. I missed this when I was out there about 5 years ago. Then went into the Peter Lik Gallery in Lahaina, and saw one of his shots, but it was too late to get out an try for myself. Oh well, next time, if there is one.

A very interesting rendition of a bark indeed. Love how a simple thng such as a bark can have such contrasting colors.

This has to be one of the most beautiful plants there is. Amazing what nature can do.

Jimmy,

Very cool! Even before noticing the title I was thinking to myself what a kaleidoscope of color. Just fascinating color in the eucalyptus bark; great lines and shapes tool. Nice job getting all this framed in an intimate image.

Fantastic abstract, Jimmy. Love the lines and color. The vertical format works quite well, allowing nice flow of the vertical lines. Gorgeous.
