I love photographing spring flowers. Here's a photo I took a couple of years ago on a beautiful spring day. (Compression is really killing this photo :frown:)

Critiques and comments are very welcome and appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful colors and very nice comp. I like the way the path leads my eye.

Carol, I really like this scene. The colors are fantastic! My only nit is, not sure I am sold on the center comp of the trail. Also, did you by any chance shoot this as a portrait rather than landscape? just think that would have accentuated the trail and the tall trees in the BG. Still nicely done though

Hi Carol! :wavey: This is a very pretty setting and your comp is very nice. All the azaleas with the woods in the background, the combination of all the colors, your handling of the light - very pleasant image.

Compression definitely affects this shot. The larger version really improves the details.

Beautiful image Carol. Great detail, fine composition and lovely complementary colors. No suggestions other than print it large.

This is just gorgeous, Carol ! The fg bushes frame the eye's path into the image beautifully, so you feel yourself very much part of the scene. Lovely colour combinations too.
