This is a bird that got a BIG "Thank You", as it provided me with a variety of interesting poses and its plumage was just spectacular!

Very, very nice Sharon, easy to understand why you were/are so happy with it :^) The colours, plumage and pose are indeed spectacular, and the perch also lends well to the image overall :^)
Kind regards,
Ashley

Rock star quality this bird has, and you have captured it well. Like the perch he chose. Lovely detail in the larger image.

Was it a windy day or the subject was ready for the stage? Good details and composition. Even if it could be a little unnatural i would try to add saturation to the eye. Question of tastes of course.

Sharon, I like the apparently wind-tossled plumage, your composition and the blues in bird and background. Interesting perch too.
