The bluebirds are back in Central Montana. It has been a long cold winter and they are a welcome sign of spring. The male has not cooperated yet, but I have a few images of the female.
D90, 300f4, 1/250, iso 250, f10, beanbag, natural light.
Curves, a little cloning in llhc and lrhc, selectively darkened the background slightly, noise reduction on the background, sharpening.
Backyard blind, set up perch.

20 commentsGreat pose, fine feather detail, lovely perch, and very complimentary BG.
The tiniest of nits, sorry - that little bright spot near the base of the perch. Draws my eye a little, even if it's small.
