Shell Game Sunrise

Off the southern most tip of Cape Breton Island, there is the Isle of Madame that is home to the little fishing village of Arichat. This pile of shells was most likely the aftermath of a fishing expedition. I think they are abalone shells but not sure. I liked the light on the shells and the atomic sun star.

Thanks for looking and I always appreciate you comments and critiques.

Lovely image, Eva. The visibility of the shells add a lot and those dark red clouds at the top add a lot.

Eva: Spectacular light and the position of the boat is both fortuitous and inspired. Fantastic shot.>=))>

Great Image - I like how you line up the boat with the sun and the use of the shells in the FG - I will keep this one in mind next time I have a similar setting - Paul :jump:

Eva, one beautiful shot. Really light the shells and the boat in the light.

Eva:
Beautiful scene and alignment of the boat, shells and sun. The shells look a little thin and fragile for abalone shells; perhaps they are scallops shells.
