David, your image is really exciting! The water and delicate foliage in the foreground add a kind of weightlessness, which is amazingly contrasted to that mighty trunks. Great work!

I really like the framing you've chosen on this one. The smooth water works well with the fine intricate details.

David - The color contrast really make this pop. I'm not as crazy about the framing/composition- very heavy on the right and the tree's lean takes me out of the pic. COlors are fantastic, though.

Hi David
This has something special that I like a lot I think it's the color, it feels very dynamic.
Congrats!

very elegant and those greens are pretty startling! i only which that the leaves to the right were contained within the frame (probably not possible). your images from these locations continue to marvel!

This is stunning, David, absolutely stunning. How you composed this with that newly leafed out tree set against that background and the large cyprus on the left hand side is simply fantastic. This is fine art photography at its finest in my opinion.

An exquisite image David. Love the details and colours. I do agree with Harry with the right hand tree taking the eye out of the picture, a crop would easily sort that.

These places are just incredible. Well composed, I love the colors. I see one thing that could be a slight improvement, frame it a little bit up and to the left.

Magica, ethereal, and very attracting. Splendid image and atmosphere. Maybe, maybe, the lower right branch of the tree could have been included in its full length ?

Thanks to everyone for the comments and feedback.

For this image I was in water almost up to my armpits, at the limits of the waders. There was a narrow window to shoot through the trees with little room to frame left or right but I did shoot a couple of tighter alternate comps. Unfortunately getting the whole lower right branch was not possible without going swimming.
