This is very cool and very creative Michael! It must have taken hours to do in-camera. Way outside my abilities.

Michael, the thumbnail doesn't begin to do this justice. This is superb for my tastes. Both beautiful and interesting.

Micheal:
This is so hard to do especially HH! I have tried doing multiple exposures without much success so far and your beautiful image encourage me to continue with this technique.
I hope you don't mind me asking - how many exposure is this and is the exposure the same for each exposure?

This is indeed very creative image Michael. Beautiful in every sense.
Did you also turn the camera during the exposure (just wondering about the spiraling pattern) ?

I really like this, Michael! I'm not usually into abstracts but this is fantastic. Love the focus on the center flower with the swirls flowing out from this. Great job processing!

Michael, this is amazing!. Well thought out and executed. The center flower looks like the eye of a hurricane.

Thanks to all for the comments. Gary and Balakumar, this is a technique I saw a few years ago in one of Freeman Patterson's books. After I fried a few brain cells trying to come up with how he did it, I finally figured it out. I had my suspicions confirmed when I saw a video of Tony Sweet using this technique. I never tried it til now because my Canon system doesn't allow multiple exposures and I thought it was too much of a pain to do it in Photoshop. My brother let me use his Nikon so I tried it out. This one is ten exposures, the max the D200 will allow. You just enter how many you want in the menu and the camera figures it out. You use a single autofocus point and put it where you want the spiral to originate. This was in the middle. Tilt the camera left, shoot, turn right a little, zoom, shoot, turn, zoom, shoot. Repeat this until you're done. I try to find a flower that's larger or a different color to rotate around.

This is rocking, brother. Looks like you put that D200 to good use. The swirls have created a wonderful flow to this floral abstract.
