I've been able to spend quite a bit of time with this particular hawk for the last couple of months - this shot was taken after a meal as it was deciding which tree to retreat to. Comments / suggestions greatly appreciated!

I like it, Guy. It's nice that you were able to get him without a lot of foreground grass to distract from a beautiful bird. I like the color palette. My only suggestion, and it's really just one of my personal preferences, would be to crop some from the top to make the bird larger in the frame. At any rate a job well done. :toast: :toast: :toast:

I love the leaves here and the up look of the bird that goes well with your choice of crop.

Interesting concept Guy with the gaze of the bird and the lines of the grasses and tree trunk pulling our eyes to the UL. Even so I'd still take a bit off the top. The hawk looks sharp at this size and the pose is interesting.

Love the colors in this Guy and how well the hawk stands out from the background and leaves in the foreground. I like the wa the hawk is looking up and the visible eye. I'd take some off of the top if this were mine.

A very different type of Red-tailed Hawk shot than we usually see here Guy. I like it a lot! The upward gaze and fallen leaves are both great. I think the amount of room you included at the top is perfect, well done :toast:
