It was about a year ago I post my series of Ranunculus. Hence the name for this year's crop. Haven't been posting much lately since there isn't much blooming way up here in the frozen north

Sure the snow drops have bloomed and the crocus are done, but hey, with Nathan being the master no need to bore you with my feeble attempts.

This is absolutely beautiful to me. The light transparency of the outer petals really give me a feel for how delicate this flower is. I really like this one.

Just gorgeous, Bob ! The whites, with their varied hues, and the textures are perfect, and the simplicity of the composition on the black bg is a delight.

I wouldn't call this a feeble attempt.... The detail is terrific and the lighting complements this perfectly.
