Another scuffle on the lek. The lighting here isn't quite what I had in the first one, but it's a lesser crop and there is good eye contact between the birds. I considered cloning the errant blade of grass partially obscuring the lower bird's eye but decided against it. C and C welcome.

WOW Keith. Another beauty. I think I like this one even better than the last. The light on both birds heads is really nice. Love the dead grasses. The blade you were going to clone doesn't bother me in the least Keith. Nice!!! :toast:

Very, very nice Keith :^) Bang on with the choice for f/11; great sharpness in both sets of head and eyes :^)

Keith,

Great action shot! I would not remove the strands of grass as they look natural. This is a wonderful scene that I would be proud to have.

Great capture keith. I love how the second bird is somewhat covered and hidden.

I think the grass is fine, and I love this close look into the interaction between these two birds.

Excellent shot Keith - great job, no need to clone anything as far I'm concerned!

Love this one Keith. Really a sweet shot IMO. The action is perfect and you got light in both bird's eyes. Nice and sharp too at f/11. If you happened to have just a smidge more room to add to the left side that would make this perfect in my eyes. But very very nice as posted. Very well done.

Really nice Keith. Love the posture of the upper bird and to get them both sharp and with catch lights with all this action is impressive. I wouldn't clone the grass blade either - I hardly notice it.
