Here is one from a few weeks ago while on my way down to Southern Oregon. I'm still not the best at blending, but this is a 2 shot blend for the cliff on the right...

Thanks for any comments or suggestions!

Camera Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Lens EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM
Exposure 1
Aperture f/16.0
Focal Length 16 mm
ISO Speed 50

I think I would crop slightly from the left, darken the exposure 1/3 stop and burn down the flare on the shadowy peaks. Great light, lovely colors and details, and the mood is awesome. What an amazing place. Happy Easter Jesse. Nice work.

Love the light and the curve of the foreground rocks. It's a beautiful scene Jesse. I agree with Matt's suggestion on the crop and I would maybe take a little off the top too. I've been sitting here moving my browser around towards the edge of my screen and scrolling your image up against the top of the browser to see how a crop would look - I take it everyone tries this or is it just me?

Wow, this is a beautiful shot Jesse. Great feel and wonderful colors! I think Matt's idea of just a bit less exposure might be good. Really enjoy looking at this.

Great light, beautiful scene! :toast: I find the wall on the right to be a bit dominating and wonder if it could be minimized in some way?

eh....it's alright.

Just kidding ho....great shot! I love this one. I can't really see anything wrong with it, other than maybe burning down the flare on the stacks like Matt suggested. :toast:

The fact that you pulled all that detail out of one exposure is mind boggling. Amazing stuff Jesse. There are some sharpening artifacts along the right cliff and sea stack that you may want to get rid, but I really I like the way you handled this scene. If it were mine, I don't think I'd change anything until I printed it. Fantastic work. :toast:

I hope you had a great Easter.

Looks like a good blending job to me, I would not change a thing, wonderful colors and good detail on the foreground rocks, I like the foam pattern in the sand as well, well done.

an engaging composition, really great repetition of shapes leading the eye from the curling foreground rock on the left, to the seastack, to the cloud above. Sweet!
