Green River Sunset (+REPOST)
by Jake Case
I took this shot back in November during a weekend trip with my dad to Arches/Canyonlands. This of course is an "icon", so I know I'm not getting any points for originality, but being on of those views I've been in love with since I was a kid, I just had to shoot it. When I was shooting it, the sunset seemed like a "dud", so I walked away that night being more satisfied with the personal experience, and trying to forget about what my camera captured. However, when I got home I was pleasantly surprised to find two bracketed exposures that turned out okay. When I originally processed this back in November, I used a cool color cast that I liked at the time, but now have re-edited more to my liking. Here's a link to my original: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jake_case/5194747465/in/set-72157624046632949
Despite my "typical" comp, is this a usable image? Does the processing work for you? All critique/comment welcome.
