The Turbulence Below

Hey folks...

This is a rework of a previously posted image. This version has a different sky. I've also added some atmospherics and lighting effects. Your comments are always welcome.

This work is a composite from various images. The sky is from Italy. The water is from behind my boat... duplicated and horizontally flipped. The tree and rock are from Tennessee. The "window" in the rock is from Spain. The waterfall is from Tennessee while the "hole" in the water was created in photoshop.

I've also include a larger version that really shows some of the detail.

Like most of your art...this is another winner! Well done! I don't see a seam in the water where two halves join...the balance and tones are pleasing. I hope you have a photo-book of these imaginative shots. What fun!

Obviously the sky's the limit, Marc. Wild art and I really like the composite image. Especially the hole in the sea.

As always, very creative. I prefer some of your colored composites to this conversion but that's just me. This image has all the impact of previous posts and spurs the imagination. ( I can't help wishing you had tinted the tree-top cherry blossom pink, though. ) Great detail

WOW! Totally amazing work Marc :^) Only wish I had more time to check out other images like this (assuming there are at least some others out there able to create such compelling artwork!) in the Photo Art gallery. Real pleased I came across this here though, and congratulations on it having been chosen for the WP :^)
