I've never seen this growing in Augusta,GA before, so if anyone knows the ID please inform me, and any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nice image of it Bob. I particularly like the light and the greens supporting the subject. Don't think you could have made this look more appealing - at least to me. I'm sorry I can't help with the id. I thought it might be persimmons for a second but the texture, which you captured nicely, is wrong. Some kind of apricot maybe? Regardless, it's very well photographed.

Can't help with the id, but I really like the shot. Centered compositions don't always work, but this one does with the cluster of fruits and the radiating lines of the leaves. Well done. :toast:

Nice job. I find it harf to get the dof right on spherical subjects but this looks very nice. I think I'll have some apricots with breakfast.

Nice shot, with pleasant colours and composition- Maybe I can help you about ID (I've that tree in my backyard, and I eat the fruits): it is a Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica), also known as Japanese medlar- It's a small tree largely diffused here in Italy (grows well in our dried summers and has nice evergreen leaves and very sweet fruits)- Hope this help, Fabio

Whatever the fruit may be, it really is caught to perfection in this lighting, Bob. Great textures on the fruit and in the leaves - and a dynamic composition with that movement in from the LL. You just want to pluck one of these !!
