Audubon's Yellow Rumped

A male Audubon's Yellow-rumped Warbler, shot at the Ridgefield Nat'l Wildlife Refuge. Lot's of warblers this year. I decided to leave the short cattail stalk below in place as I prefer an odd number of stalks in foreground for comp.

auto window beanbag rest, 20% cropped off for comp.

I like the setting and composition here. Good work on catching this active bird.

I really like this with the bulrush perch being in focus as well as the bird. Good comp and color as well.

Super image, Craig. I've never seen them in a marsh setting before but I really like the bird's position on the cattail. I might try to brighten the catchlight in the eye just a tad to emphasize it a bit more, but this looks great as is.

excellent, Craig! pose, setting, comp, colors are all excellent. I'd consider a tiny bit more sharpening just on the head, but that may just be me. really a fine looking shot.
