Great Egret Pose

Image was taken the last week in February at Venice Rookery. This guy was trying very hard to attract a mate with all his different poses. I liked the wraparound hiding effect- thus the closeup.

Bob, Every evening my wife and I review the images on NPN. My wife yelled to you see the Great Egret, its beautiful. I think this is a great composition showing off the lores and the fine feathers. The exposure is right on where the details of the Egret are shown. Thanks for posting this image.
