Very cool image Daniel. The balsam root in the foreground and the Columbia River in the mid ground look great. The only part I'm not sold on is the sky. I might consider cropping the blue part of the sky out and decreasing the magenta in the sky a bit. The magenta in the sky doesn't seem to fit the rest of the scene.

I really like the foreground Balsam root and the river and bluffs in the distance. But I'm with Scott about the magenta sky, it doesn't fit with the the rest of the image.

Very nice. Great foreground, middle, and sky/clouds. I personally think the foreground is a little too bright for the background and sky. Otherwise, this is exceptional.

What a strong comp! Sky looks a bit funking with the magenta, but it contrasts nicely with the foreground flowers.

The bottom foreground portion is wonderful Daniel. I would almost go for a square crop of the foreground alone. The sky and background are not adding much to the scene. Those flowers are just wonderful.

Yo Daniel to be honest...

I like the comp a lot (:toast: ) but something is weird about processing here. Almost seems like it is in defined layers. Where the flowers end it almost looks like a composite (although I don't think it is). Then the sky seems like another layer (which I'm not liking the magenta in their too much).

Again, I like the scene a lot, but am not liking the processing very much.

Here's one with some of the magenta pulled from the sky. Not sure where it came from.

The sky seems a little too over the top, but it is a wonderful comp and good image. That's my only nit, and it's not a big one.

Hi Daniel, this is a very nice shot of yours but to me the foreground greens look a little bit yellowish. The hills in the background are fine.

Pretty good scene here. Compositionally it's close. The empty bottom left corner bugs me a bit as well as the sticks coming out of the flowers. Not sure if you could have removed those. Also clouds seem a bit too black but could just be how they were that day. Good job w/ the processing.

Very nicely composed Daniel. I agree the athe sky looks a bit odd, but still very nice.

The re-processed version looks much better to me. I'm stuck on the dirt trail that runs through the image behind the flowers. It may have been hard to hide this, but it takes a little away from the natural beauty of the shot for me. Sometimes a trail winding through an image helps tell a story of the place, but in this case it looks like the attempt was to hide it. Spectacular vantage point - looks like a killer location. :toast:
