Craig, Agree with your assessment - lighting is excellent and I also like the hint of dew in the frontal petal tip. The background also helps the shot

The lighting is very effective, as well as the comp. Great DOF choice. Red/green always makes a nice color combo, one that I really like. The dew drops are a nice addition.

Fine shot. The background a perfect complement to the subject. Only nit would be a little light on the base of the flower.
