This is beautiful, Scott. Your composition is excellent and I like your choice of shutter speed to retain the detail in the water which really demonstrates the power of the rushing water. The colors are rich and vibrant with excellent clarity and the patch of fog adds even more interest. I enjoyed reading the blog and looking through your gallery online. You have some great work. Thanks for sharing. :wavey:

Beautiful image Scott. Definitely has a beach scene feel to it, the way the current is moving around the rock is fascinating. Perfect speed on the water IMO, the colors and details are great and that wisp of fog in the ULC is a very nice touch. Well done.
I've been considering getting a driftboat for such trips and you've inspired me! :toast:

BTW I just checked out your website. Awesome stuff!

Wow, this looks like a very wild and "excotic" location. Strong composition and I like the mood - a bit dark actually which I like.

Sounds like a wonderful trip, Scott. This is nice and certainly seems to capture the character of the trip quite well. I also like the "Rogue Mystery" images from your blog.

Hi Scott - I like this image a lot. The action in the water is great and the variety of greens in the image adds visual interest. I might like it a bit more if the fog in the upper left corner either continued on the right of the boulder or was not present at all - a minor point, for sure. I really like the "view from your tents" image on your blog, as well. Looks like a fun trip!
