Birds and Boulder
by Keshav Kumar
I noticed this big boulder along the Tungabhadra banks in Hampi in India (It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site - an ancient city's ruins) and it looked glorious in early morning light. I wasn't sure about how to capture it when suddenly I saw this flock of birds flying. I waited for them to come on top of the boulder and then made this image. I like it for its simplicity and mood.
Would appreciate your views.

8 commentsI love the concept, the subtle colors and how the shape of the birds flight pattern mimic the shape of the boulder except turned on its side. It would have been nice if they were just a bit more to the right, but not a deal breaker.
