I like the lush greens with the water drops Todd. I might like to see the apex of the leaves, as the lines seem to take me out of the picture. Just my two cents worth.

Love the diagonal bias in the composition Todd. The outermost part of the leaves look a little soft to me - at least relative to the upper part. Although I suspect you were trying to isolate the subject from the bg and you certainly succeeded. Nice work and an interesting study.

Hard not to include the beautiful peony flowers but you have created a striking image. Good work!

Todd: Very well seen and composed. I would like a bit more DOF on the drops but I like the comp and energy. Nicely done. >=))>

Hi Bill, thanks for your comment. I think there may have been a slight breeze that may have been what caused the slight softness on the water drops. It was early in the morning when I got home from work and still raining just a bit so it was kinda dark. Its hard to judge sharpness from the back of the camera and its always a struggle for me to guess what the right aperture I should use and still get the background to blur enough. O'well I guess the more I do this the better I will get at choosing the best aperture. Thanks again, Todd
