Abstract Stigma

Hi Everybody,
It's good to be back! It has been a long time since I've posted on N.P.
I have had major health problems, but I am feeling better now.
This tulip was the first to bloom in my garden. I took the stigma in a somewhat abstract form, I hope I have succeeded.

Hey Albert great to see you back :toast: :toast: :toast: I was thinking about just the other day and wondering how you were.

This one looks good to me. I like the stigma on the diagonal and the yellow red colour wash. Only suggestion would be to clone in some of that wonderful colour wash into the LLC to remove the dark spot.

Keep those images coming.

So glad to see you back, feeling better, Albert !! Have been hoping you would be able to come back soon. A vivid image to announce your return - the multi-coloured bg sets off the stigma beautifully, Looking forward now to seeing many more !

It looks like a submarine diving to the depths of a lava pool! Sorry for the corniness but that was my first impression. Seriously, this is an interesting shot of the inside of a tulip. I like your POV and the diffused, colorful BG. Glad you are feeling better.

Hi Albert, Sorry you haven't been feeling well.

This is an awesome posting. Lovely gradation of colors in the background. Do agree with Bob's comment on the LLC.

Keep posting, please.

I think it's a propeller about to push a seed into outer space. Very nice! I'd like to see detail in the entire top of the stigma, but that would totally center it, which would destroy the flow of this image.

Nice to hear that you are feeling better Albert. Wish you fast full recovery. You've posted a very interesting image. Since we are in flora gallery it is easy to recognize it. You have captured this tulip detail extremely well.

Albert: I have been missing you and glad to hear you are doing better. I like the colors especially. Even though you were at f13 I still think a bit more DOF or slightly different camera angle to manage the plane of focus better would suit me a bit more. Still pretty darn good as is. Great to have you back aboard and looking forward to more. >=))>
