Was out storm chasing east of Limon Colorado yesterday. Chase ended early when I-70 was hit with enough hail to cover it a foot deep in spots--had to wait for the snow plows to come through! But the storms were quite impressive, especiallly at sunset. This is from Seibert CO--you can see the hail streaks from the cloud base in the distance. More storms today!

What is it like to witness something like that out in the open?
I take it you have a tough old vehicle for chasing ?
This reminds me of the movie twister. ( which I love, bad acting and all )
Question, What does "double" RAW mean?

Matt--i preferred my old Jeep, cause my current 2WD doesnt quite cut it--but it does get much better mileage, and i dont mind the hail dents in it so i dont mind driving through the hail so long as i keep it under golfball size...
The toughest part of chase photos is you dont get to pick your fg, and you hate stopping at all for that matter since your afraid youll miss something up ahead if you stop. I have a lot of respect for the few full time chase photogs out there.
Great catch

of nature shown here, and for me it evokes a spiritual concept.
The storm is fantastic, the light is special and your execution is perfect.
