The morning sun reflects off the red sandtone walls of Oak Creek Canyon above Sedona to give the streamwater a nice glow. Larger version provided.

Wonderful large scale abstract Doug. I like the reflected warm light off the water.

Great reflected color and texture Doug. It seems a little over sharpened in white water but the rest is fine. Good intimate view!

Hey Doug, I really like this one! The contrast between the textured whitewater and the bronze "brush strokes" really gives this a nice look.

A superb composition, Doug! You caught the water action at just the right time. Great choice of shutter speeds.
My only recommendation is to make room on your wall for this one.

This is really nice, Doug. What a wonderful take on Sedona. I second John's suggestion. This is worth hanging.

Thank you for the kind comments. I went down to Slide Rock to take photos of the small ledge falls, but this rose along the way turned out as the best image of the morning.

Doug,
This is a beautiful and dynamic intimate. The color of the reflection is wonderful - perhaps bordering on too much saturation? but that's a matter of personal taste. I love the comp and the trio of elements working so well together, including the shutter speed and water action. Most certainly deserves to be hanging somewhere.

Beautiful composition of static and moving elements. I like the reflected golden tint on the water. Wonder what you cropped from the frame.
