Very nicely done, even with a monopod and !/400 SS. Good thing the bird was still! A classic pose and perch. While the iridescence and detail are good, I like most of all the roundness of the eye!

This is sweet. The detail is just wonderful on the larger photo. And this is just 12% of FF? Really nice. :toast:

Dan, the detail is not bad for such a large crop. Especially around the eye area, which is most important. The perch branch looks too bright toward the very right side of the image.

Superb shot. Great detail and love the pose. Real nice colors as well. My only nit and this might just be me but the perch seems a tad bright. Other than that well done.

Nice head-turn and exposure is spot-on.

Hummers are one of my favorite birds to photograph but really hard to get these guy's to stay still. For only 12% of full frame this still has some nice detail but would agree on the branch being a problem, nice job in getting this, way to go.
