Patagonian Autumn
by Rodrigo Sandoval
While the Northern Hemisphere is starting to bloom, the Southern Hemisphere is going straight to winter. This photo is from just 3 weeks ago, during the peak of the autumn in the upper lakes near Coyhaique in Chilean Patagonia.
The lucky moment came after the omnipresent Patagonian wind slowed down for the whole afternoon, allowing me to get this shot from a boat. I would have loved to have some clouds to play with in the composition, but at least this scene conditions were somewhat unusual for this place.
Photo: 16mm, ISO-400, F11, 1/125sec, no tripod (from a boat).

I have to agree with Tony's comments about the over exposure. If you could tone down the upper part of the image, specifically the trees and mountain the colors should pop quite nicely.
Great color in the sky and lake though. Hope you have a chance to re-work and repost.
