I like the pose and all of the details in the fur and claws. I'd suggest that you dodge the eye modestly to see if you can bring out a bit of light. That would add noticeably to the attractiveness of this image.

Great details and I like the composition. Agree with the first comment that being able to see the eye would really improve the image.

The pose is so cool Mark! The eye socket looks a bit like a black hole and therefore I echo Mark Seaver's suggestion to lighten it up a bit. The BG is not the most ideal, but the chosen aperture and the fact that it is darker than the subject prevent it from being a real distraction.
