Tis beautiful warbler posed and sang for me in a marsh near my home last Friday.

Canon 7D, EF400 f5.6 w/1.4TC, tripod, manual focus, f8 @1/500 sec., iso 400
This is full frame. I experimented with crop but couldn't find one I liked. What do you think?

Really like that singing pose. Like the detail around the eye as well.

I like very much the action and the colors: looks like you got quite a singing performance

Hi Scott: A beautiful bird. Singing poses are always nice to capture. The exposure on the bird, especially in in the chest, is pretty bright. I'd work to bring that down and also the background brightness. I'm not sure what I'd suggest on the crop. You don't have much room on the right to try to move the bird out of the center.
