Made this image from a ladder on my truck bed in order to get over the fg trees and show the Marl Prairie in the distance. This is a 2 image blend, shot in early morning.

I can just feel the heat and humidity. On my monitor this could however be lighter on the foreground and parts of the clouds.

Very nice. It's a little dark, but that also adds to the drama. I really like the mistiness of the horizon.

That is some crazy light! The foreground is quite dark but the sky makes it all worth viewing.

Beautiful color and light Wayne. This must be viewed in a dark room however.. You may want to add that comment in your description.

Great drama in the sky. And kudos to you for using the ladder! I've always told myself I was going to haul one around just for that purpose - even so much as trying to devise a way to mount a tripod head on top of the ladder... anyway....
My only suggestion would be a crop of about 1/2 of the dark foreground. I see some plant highlights, but really there's not enough detail that is adding anything to the image. The long, dark cloud up top speaks pano anyway.
A beautiful sight.

A great shot! I love the darkness and the orange of the sky. I think it is fine as-is, but if I were to experiment with it, I might try cropping all edges toward center to showcase that fantastic sky. I'm not sure if it would work though. Again, I like it as-is!
