Beautiful Flower but still a Weed  .

ND200, 50mm F/1.8 with 48mm of Extension @ f/2.5, 1/200 Sec, ISO200, Diffuser, Plamp and Tripod on a windy day.

Handholding this is tough.

Thanks for your comments on Bleeding Heart on Fern and do let me know what you think of this one.

I have other compositions (one with 68mm of extension also) with focus in the middle of the flower instead of in the front here.

PS : On travel, so will be a bit behind on commenting, but I will do so even if its late.

I really like this Ram...almost looks like a lensbaby shot. Well composed, captured and displayed.

Nice mood, great sense of motion, together with a color palette that pleases. Very nice indeed!

I really do like the dreamy effect here. Great soft diffusion of the light and the pof works so well. Beautiful!

I've seen these out in the fields and you've captured this beautifully. The softness and shallow DOF is wonderful here. After seeing all your wonderful work last season with extension tubes I purchased a set for myself at the end of last summer. Well done and keep the great shot coming.

Ram: Even an ugly duckling can turn into a swan. Beautiful soft colors and for me the POF is inspired. Perhaps your best this year. >=))>

Definitely a flower, Ram ! Love the touches of pink at the petal edges in what is a perfect composition for my taste - the front centre focal point being absolutely right I think as a point for the eye to then go deep into the frame.

Ram:
Your images are alway delightful and a joy to look at. I like the implied motion of the petals, almost like a Hawaii dancer with grass skirt. LOL :toast:

Ram, this is so incredibly beautiful, the lines, the light, the color, the motion, the softness. I agree with Pat that the overall effect is magic.

Beautiful! I love so much this image that I don't know if I will appreciate your shot with the center in focus. But I know that you can surprise us!
Take care
