Yesterday evening in the Ysperklamm, a gorge in Lower Austria. The high content of iron makes this specific color of the creek.

Peter this image is amazing in detail all around. Did you consider cloning out the bright streak under the rock at right upper center? At 20 seconds the blue extension into to pool of water is nice. Not so nice the blur at lower middle. Overall I'd be happy as could be if this were in my portfolio. :wavey:

I don't feel like the 50/50 emphasis on the immediate foreground is necessary here but from the top of the light colored rock on back it all works.

i like the background but for my taste it's just a bit too much foreground...and since there's that blur at lower middle foreground I would consider a crop...but I do love the light on the rocks. but it sure is a beautiful image....

Looks like a wonderful and peaceful place. I am wondering if a shot from closer to the ground would reduce the amount of space in the frame that the pool is taking up. As it is, perhaps there is not quite enough interest in the pool for the amount of space it takes up. Other than that small nit, it is very nice.

I'm getting bombarded with Ysperklamm images from everywhere around me. Looks like this is THE place to go to for all you guys from Lower Austria and Vienna. Well, you got me that much interested that this gorge moved up my to-do-list quite some places.
I like the shot a lot. The crossing of the waterfalls is a nice element here and the foreground is very interesting. There are some minor distractions like the rock sticking in from the left, the white streaks on the right and left and the slightly blurry water areas in the foreground. But nothing too serious. Did you blend two images here. Looks like the waterfall is a bit darker in the streaks which for my taste could be brighter and maybe a hint less blue (and if I say that it's something to think about cause I LOVE blue water :) ). Overall great shot, Peter. One of your better ones.

I'll echo. Wonderful capture of these falls, but I'd crop a bit of the foreground.

I knew Andreas would like that one. He's the water n' rocks guy. I like it also very much. I like the color contrast between fg and bg, and also all the textures. The gravel and pebbles underneath the water add sufficient interest and the bg looks excellent regarding sharpness and details. The water is rendered beautifully too.

Real nice little waterfall scene. I would go along with the crop suggestions and I would lightly clone in some texture into the blown water in the waterfall. Not much, but just enough to give it something in there. Nice strong colors throughout, too!

Beautiful. Love the color, I could see a slight burnin on upper right, but very minor. :toast: :toast:
