Yes the wings with that light are special. The image overall has so much going for it, Gary. The butterfly is in such great condition with no apparant damage to wings as happens so soon for these creatures. Your exposure choice has captured a wonderful scene. I love this one! :jump: :jump: :jump:

Gary I like the image a lot. Very good mood with lovely light in the wings. A touch more light on the head would have been ideal.
Now all the attention is for the wings. But they are really beautiful.

Gary, this is beautiful! Wonderful comp, great lighting, and perfect BG. I also like the backlit wings that helps to emphasize their beautiful patterns. The color exposure you chose for this shot is so perfect. Love it all!

Excellent in every way, Gary. That backlight not only makes the main part of the wings light up, it also imparts a wonderful bright glow to the edges of the wings, and those beautiful buds. :toast:
