Welcome to NPN Verdon and the M&N Gallery. Fantastic color! I love the warm colored rock against the deep blue sky. The presence of the person really adds a sense of scale to the scene. Have fun on NPN and be sure to leave comments on others images. You will find that it helps get views and comments on your images.

I really like how the swinging climber contrast with the blue sky in this action shot. Sometimes bright sunlight works well and this is one of those times.

It looks like there is some sort of discoloration in the lower portion of the sky.

I bet few of us have climbing skills so I hope you will share many unique perspectives.

I love the colors.....nice color contrast. And the man gives, as Eva already mentioned, a sense of scale to the entire scene.

I always like to see some photos with people actually in them in this gallery, especially an active person. Keep 'em coming.

I like the visually bold colours and graphics here. There's something a little odd in the bottom part of the sky ? cloud or some cloning.

I climbed this route on Leaning Tower about 30 years ago. Judging from the location and angle of this shot, it appears the discoloration of the lower sky is due to cloning out the cliff that is to the right of Leaning Tower. Is that correct?

I know how difficult it is to take good climbing shots. This one might benefit by rotating and cropping the image clockwise, so the rope above the climber is plumb. In this image it appears the climber pushed off from the wall to swing out away from the face. I know this route is very steep, and having the rope plumb would illustrate that more convincingly.

Cheers,

Roland
