Peregrine

by Andy Shepherd

Gallery: Regional: UKNPPosted June 12, 2011223 views11 comments

One from this morning, female Peregrine returning with a pigeon to feed the three youngsters. As for the shot, I would have liked a cleaner BG, preferably a clear blue sky, but you take what you are given so this will have to do for the time being.

1/1600 @ f8 iso500 ( 85% of FF and some bright areas of the BG toned down )

Please view the large version

Thanks for the feedback on my last post and thanks for looking.

There are a few more Peregrine shots on the blog if anyone cares to take a look.

Andy...

Much prefer this type of background to a clear blue sky background, Andy - it gives the image depth.
Cracking shot :toast:

That is a cracker Andy.
BKGR is fine for my tastes.
If you have it available, I would add some canvas to the top and remove some from the bottom to strengthen the direction of travel even more.

Cheers

Wow! Amazing shot - background is fine by me. I am envious  I agree with Austin's crop suggestion.

Hello Andy.

Superb capture and theres no way I would want a blue sky for a background when the background on this is excellent.
