Awesome shot Craig, love the end of the branch and the detail, I have little bit problem with part of tree in the left bottom corner, looks like doesn't belong to anything , Easy FIX, other that excellent shot CONGRATS :wavey:

Sweet, Craig. I like the detail in the bird and the lichen. I think I'm seeing some cloning or compression artifacts in the larger version (the paler bg to the left of the bird).

Beautiful shot!
Great pose, really nice perch and lichen, and perfect BG. Your usual fine detail as well.
I have mixed feelings about the tree bit in the lower left.

Thanks Dennis for the heads up on the cloning artifacts, a tough image to work on when your "green colorblind."
For those unsure about the branch/lichen in the lower left, Here is another version. Thanks for your comments!

Terrific perch and BG. Nice detail on bird and perch. I like the repost with missing stuff in lower left.
I would not have noticed this if you had not mentioned being green color blind. Now I'm wondering if the different shade of green behind the lower left area of the lichen to the right of the bird is natural. It's a neat capture of a wood pewee.

Very nice portrait of yet another species of bird I was unfamiliar with. Much prefer the repost, thanks for sharing Craig :^)

I like the repost as well and personally prefer this presentation to your framing in the original.

I love the background colours! It looks like there is some great detail in the feathers, and a nice catchlight, too.

I actually like the original better, the tree in the bottom left did not bother me. I think that the repost is a little too tight of a crop, for me anyway.
