What a graceful curve Sandy. Love your dof decision and the contrast between subject and bg. Superb detail as well. Well seen and masterfully presented. Gorgeous work.

Outstanding in all ways, Sandy. The curvature and detail through the entire subject but especially the stem is toothful.

Very artistic Sandy. The curves make the image. The colors, bud detail, and BG are also excellent.

I love the light fringe outline and curved shape Sandy. I have only seen Lady Slippers in full bloom in Maine so this is interesting and wonderful.

Superb composition and detail, Sandy ! I love the way the bud loops against the curving forms of the bg leaves - and the colours in the bud are so delicate. First rate image !!

Tastefully done with a graceful curve. Background management also should get high marks. Its not quite easy to shoot these.

Lovely detail, Sandy. I would have liked to have seen this taken at a slightly different angle so that you captured the back lighting only on one side of that wonderful curve. but then I have the advantage of 20/20 hindsight when I'm viewing this image.

Great detail.

Cheers,

Carol

Sandy: Not sure I've ever seen a shot of the bud before. This is wonderful. I especially like the subject and the flowing lines of the BG. Great find and a superb capture. >=))>
